Friends

We are finally back in AL! We had a nice time in SC but I'm glad to be back home in good ole AL. I am glad to be home but prior to the trip I was a little down in the dumps because I do not know a lot of people yet. Sometimes it is difficult to meet people when you stay at home. I met a really nice lady several months ago and she told me she was relocating to AL the end of July. She is finally here and I am glad. I also just found out her husband is a new coach at the university. I will see how it goes but I really miss my friends in Atlanta. My husband and I are going to visit a church this weekend-The Church of the Highlands in Bham. I have not had a chance to find a church bc I was always on the road going back and forth to MS bc of my mom's chemo. Amy starts school in a couple of weeks and I cannot go home as much so this will give me time to find a church, get settled, and meet some friends!

Slacker

OK..I am so behind on my posts. I will try to post soon. Currently, Amy and I are in SC with my hubby! My husband is here for a business trip this week and we are with him. This place is so much fun! I really like SC! The weekend before that Amy and I spent time with my family in a hotel in Jackson, MS. We had a blast. We took Amy to the Museum and we helped my mom pick out her boat at Bass Pro Shop. Well, hope to post more info and pics soon after things settle down a bit.

Free Movie

I took the LO to one of the free movies at the local cinema. We had a nice time! I could not believe it was free. One of the moms told me they have it every year. I enjoyed the free movie but I have to take her to see Ice Age sometime this week.

I am trying to pack because I have to leave for the Sip tomorrow. I am so tired but I need to go because my mom starts chemo again Friday. Please pray for my family as we continue our fight against cancer. All I can say is I know God is in control.

New Blog

Well, I started a new blog today. I got rid of the old one and changed the http address for this one. I'm still new to the blog world but so far so good. Learning as I go. Will post more tomorrow.

Amy's Doctor Appt

Amy's appt went well. I took her to Pizza Hut after the appt and then we went to the library. She got her first library card today and she was excited. We checked out three books and after that we came home and took a long nap.
